Sanskrit is one of the most revered languages in India and of the oldest in the world. Sanskrit is the medium to connect to our roots, our heritage and our glorious past.
We feel blessed to have the legacy of Avataras such as Rama, Krishna, Buddha etc and Rishis such as Yajnavalkya, Panini, Vyasa and many more.
The Vedas, Upanishadas, Ramayana and Mahabharata are the foundations of one of the greatest and oldest civilizations: The Vedic civilization.
Many schools of knowledge flourished over the centuries and enriched the Indian tradition.
Sanskrit has been a witness to the journey of the seeker, expressive and argumentative Indian mind.
Along with the tradition, the language too has suffered a major setback over the past few centuries due to various reasons. In the general arena, people look at it in a very limited vision of only religious chants or some ancient language.
It’s high time for Sanskritists like us to gear up and take the responsibility to shed this narrow image and put forth a vast canvas of the rich heritage in front of the new generation.
This is where ‘Sanskrit For You’ comes into picture.
We are a group of Sanskrit students who study Sanskrit and are in love with the beauty and content of the language. Yet the present state of the language seemed to lack a noteworthy presence in the social stage.
We started many activities to spread Sanskrit such as teaching in parks, forming a student-wing of Sanskrit students, bringing families together to learn Sanskrit etc.
Yet, modern problems require modern solutions. We must be able to flaunt what we love.
This very idea motivated us to create a platform, a presence, a trend and the idea arose to bring Sanskrit into Fashion and Fashion into Sanskrit.
Motivated and supported by stalwarts in Sanskrit such as Dr. Saroja Bhate and Dr. Bhagyalata Pataskar, we launched Sanskrit For You at the All India Oriental Conference, Haridwar in November,2016. The serious academicians too, wholeheartedly supported this initiative.
The world renowned Yoga Guru Swami Ramdevji appreciated the concept and motivated us to take it further.
Since then, we have received tremendous support from Sanskrit-lovers from all over the world.
Our pages on Instagram and Facebook have been loved and shared by thousands. The regular dose of Sanskrit shlokas on relevant occasions with beautiful designs brighten the readers’ day.

As the name suggests, it’s an attempt to bring Sanskrit closer to the very YOU who is reading this.
The Abhivyakti (expression) of a Vyakti (person) is very important. Our speech, actions and the things we use are a part of our personal and social expression.
Sanskrit- literally means The cultured one. Then why not culture our every expression with The supremely cultured one i.e. Sanskritam. Every product under our initiative has to have a Sanskrit expression over it. Thus, Sanskritena Sanskritam is our motto.
Starting with T-shirts and Sweatshirts, we have introduced many products with Sanskrit such as Mugs, Bamboo speakers, Masks and much more. The parents and the enthusiastic kids motivated us to start the Kids section too. There are many more products which are to be introduced soon.

The Vision behind the Mission- Devabhasha Foundation
The products are just a medium to popularize Sanskrit and Sanskriti. The main target is to take Sanskrit and Sanskriti to everyone.
These profits, whatever we make are directed to develop new products, new designs, innovative content and support other initiatives.
Presently Sanskrit For You with Devabhasha Foundation organises workshops for kids and adults to get them acquainted with the Sanskrit language in a playful manner.
Our prime goal of this initiative is to form a Gurukulam where Sanskrit is taught in the traditional yet innovative way with the modern sciences too.
Students will learn the gems from Sanskrit literature and enrich their lives thus strengthening the society and nation. The traditional values from the Gurukuls are the crux of our Vedic civilization.
To perpetuate this dream, we want to convey our initiative and the idea behind it to every Sanskrit lover.
Sanskrit For You is committed and working on our dream project- A self sustained Gurukulam with Devabhasha Foundation.
